What is the purpose of registration?

The owner register maintains information about the owner of serial-numbered equipment. The registration prevents financial and insurance fraud and illegal trade in equipment. The Register of Owners increases trust between the parties involved.

  1. When owners register their equipment, they inform the market and the authorities who owns the equipment.
  2. When buying a device, the buyer can check the owner.
  3. Registering the device is part of the company’s accountability, reducing the possibility of misuse.

The user must first register as a user. Registration is done by clicking on the register button. You can then log in to the service by clicking on the login button.

You can then:

  • import your own devices into the service
  • view and modify the data of your own devices
  • search for the owner of the device you have found by serial number.

Only the necessary ownership information is entered into the service. Owner, serial number, make and model.

Ownreg does not replace the equipment register maintained by the seller or the owner.
